ISL joins Achilles UVDB Online Community

Integrated Skills (UK) Ltd joins Achilles UVDB online community for the utility sector.

Integrated Skills (UK) Ltd (ISL) is now engaging with companies in the utilities sector through the Achilles UVDB online community. Achilles UVDB enables companies to procure products and services, manage supply chain risk and comply with EU regulations.

ISL operates internationally out of 3 UK locations (plus 1 in the Channel Islands) providing route optimisation software and consultancy to companies in various sectors. Using the RouteSmart for ArcGIS software solution ISL clients reduce costs and drive through efficiencies in their route planning. Thanks to the Achilles online community ISL is now be able to share with utilities its capabilities in key business areas including meter reading, meter inspections, and smart meter implementation programmes.

RouteSmart maximises efficiency through enhanced route planning resulting in reductions in hours walked, routes required, fleet size, mileage, planning time and human resource, more balanced routes/rounds, more accurate ETAs and enhanced management information.

Achilles UVDB is used by over 1000 buyers from over 40 UK utility companies to find suitably qualified suppliers. Achilles works to ensure suppliers’ information is accurate via data validation, and desktop and physical audits. Several buying organisations also use the community as an approved mechanism for tendering for contracts above and below EU threshold contracts – streamlining the procurement process.
