For our Christmas Webinar for 2021, Stuart was joined by sustainable consumption and product design expert, Professor Tim Cooper, of Nottingham Trent University, who discussed how his 1994 report ‘Beyond Recycling’ included many of the strands within circular economy thinking, and why his particular interest in extending product life is a key element of the circular economy. Rachel Barnes of Barnes and Binns General Store in Hove talked about setting up a waste-free store and how they are building relationships with the local community and with closed loop suppliers.
